Debra Darlene Stewart, 57, of Lancaster, passed away Monday, Jan. 11, in Tyler.
She was born Aug. 14, 1952, in Mexia to James Eugene and Mary Ellon Jones Taliaferro. She was a member of the Baptist Church and had been employed by the Loomis-Fargo armored car company as a bookkeeper.
Ms. Stewart is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Kelli of Waxahachie, grandchildren, Taylor, Kaleb, Hunter and Camren Stewart, father, James Eugene Taliaferro of Prairie Hill, sister, Linda Holt of Tyler, brother, Stephen Taliaferro and wife Annie of Austin, several nieces and nephews and by her beloved pets, Brittany and Harley.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. today (Thursday, Jan. 14) at the Prairie Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Fred Sain officiating. Interment will follow in the Prairie Hill Cemetery.
Visitation with the family was Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Creecy, David Farris, Ray Forrester, Ronnie Griffin, Stell Waldrop and Donald Jones.
