With the Fightin’ Cat football team again in the state playoffs, you might want to think about your Black Cat Football Playoff t-shirts. And, when you do that, think about Kasey’s Kreations, which has the shirts for $11 each. From sales of the shirts, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Mexia Athletic Boosters Club. The t-shirts will be ready for sale this coming Tuesday...

When another blood drive comes to Mexia, here’s something to think about - More than 38,000 pints of blood are needed every day in the United States...

An Aphorism? It’s a short, pointed sentence expressing a wise or clever observation or a general truth. Let’s look at three more of ‘em!!
*Seat belts are not as confining as wheelchairs.
*A good time to keep your mouth shut is when you’re in deep water.
*How come it takes so little time for a child who is afraid of the dark to become a teenager who wants to stay out all night?
