Nobody said it was going to be easy to get the ribbon off the calf’s tail, but this young lady in her bare feet gave it a shot anyway. This is one segment of the youth version of tie-down roping. First, a rider must rope the calf, then either he or someone else will come in to make sure the calf stays down and third, another person comes in to snatch the ribbon from the calf’s tail and run back to the chute. Best time wins!
